Hostel El Gringo
Suchitoto's newest hostel opened it's doors in September of 2008. The small hostel with only two private rooms and one dorm room offers all you need to rest and relax in comfort. For what we lack in size we make up in service and quality.
Room #1
Has a high quality twin bed, nice and firm for a good nights rest. The room also has a wall fan to keep you nice and cool. Room 1 has a two windows, one that opens to the upper patio and an interior window opening into the common area.
Room #2
Has two single beds of equal quality and firmness as room one. This room also has a wall mount fan and one interior window that opens into the common area.
The hostel has a common or living room with TV with cable, a small radio/CD player and purified water dispenser. You will also find a small book exchange and some local and national tourism information. A small patio, wash basin and shared bath are part of the exterior common areas.
Included in the price, free purified water and a complete breakfast in our restaurant. Full Breakfast service from 8:00 am till 11:00 am, if you have an early departure lets us know and we can arrange to have a very simple breakfast served from 6:00 am and on.
Rates in our private rooms:
$10/person
In November of 2008 we opened our new dormitory and lower patio area. The dorm room is equipped with four double beds of the same excellent quality as our private rooms. The large room has a simple division and we have placed two beds in each area. There is a small night table between each bed and one wall mount fan in each area.
Dorm room rates:
$7/Person
These are no frill accommodations and we are willing to negotiate for groups of three or more, just ask when visiting. The dorm area has one shared bath, wash basin and small patio with hammocks and benches. Dorm room accommodations do not include free breakfast, TV or purified/bottled water.
We also provide laundry service, machine wash, sun dry and folded for $5.00, just ask when you check in. We are also happy to provide you with free tourism information, make reservations for local tours, horseback rides and lake tours.
