* **La Posada de Suchitlán:** Boutique charm central. Just blocks from the parque central, this beautifully restored house offers character-filled rooms, a lovely courtyard, and some incredible lake views. Excellent value and location. ($$$)
* **Hotel El Tejado:** Reliable & welcoming. Great mid-range option with clean, comfortable rooms, a popular restaurant/bar, and friendly staff. Offers lake views from some rooms and the terrace. ($$$)
* **Hotel 1800** Offering nice rooms and a restaurant with a spectacular lake view. ($$$)
* **Hotel Posada AltaVista:** Just off the main central plaza of Suchitoto offering standard rooms at a great price. Location makes it very convenient. ($$)

* **Hotel y Café Ixmati: ** Again very close to th4e central plaza and shares a building with the Casa Hotel Santa Lucia. Currently this is one of the best priced hotels in Suchitoto. ($$)
* ** Hostal Raices de Mi Pueblo: ** On the street heading down to the lake and about 6 blocks from the central plaza. This small family run hostel has quickly become the favorite of many travelers visiting Suchitoto. ($$)
* **Hostal Koltin: ** On the street coming up from the lake, but only about 3 blocks from the central plaza. This small family run hostel now has most rooms with private bathrooms and AC. Rates run just around $40/night for a double and this include a typical breakfast and taxes. ($$)
* **Hostal Dolores: ** and old standard for hostels in Suchitoto, set in a large home with nice gardens. This hostel is about 4 blocks from the central plaza. ($$)
* **Terrazas Guest House: ** A newer hostel on the second floor offer some rooms with views overlooking Suchitoto. Just one block before the municipal market and only two blocks from the central plaza. ($$)
* **Vega´s Grandpa Hostal: ** A large restored colonial house just off the main central plaza, several room types and prices vary depending on the room type and number of people/room.($$)
* **The Mayan Grouper Guesthouse: ** This place is at the end of a small street and offers a spectacular lake view. Rooms were designed by the owner Rene and are very nice, have AC and well-priced. ($$)
* *Villa SuchiMex Hotel and Restaurant: **. This large complex has several room types and a large swimming pool. The restaurant offers TexMex and Typical foods. Both hotel and Restaurant are well priced. ($$)
* **Guazapa Café y Hotel: ** A small hotel and restaurant located about 1 kilometer before ypou get to Suchitoto on the highway coming from San Martin. This place is set in nice gardens and is so peaceful you won’t know Suchitoto exists. Very well priced with only two room types. ($$)
* **Hostal El Amate: ** Newer hostel in Suchitoto. ($$)
* *Hostal las 3 J: ** Another larger hostel in Bario La Cruz and as you enter Suchitoto. ($$)
In 2025 there are now several Airbnb’s in all parts of the city and at varying rates. Beware that Suchitoto can fill up on weekends so make reservations if planning on spending a Friday or Saturday night in any of the local hotels, hostels or Airbnb’s.
